Description
Ultra purified water was produced form pre-water treatment , Ro water treatment and EDI ionization to remove the conductivity material , resin, suspended solids heavy metal ion and TOC. Ultra purity water production has traditionally used a combination of membrane separation and ion exchange processes. EDI is a process which combines semi-impermeable membrane technology with ion-exchange media to provide a high efficiency demineralization process. The conductivity of the water after EDI would be within 0.1us/cm (resistance value is within 10 megohms). The traditional process for preparing ultrapure water for batteries often uses anion and cation resin. Exchange equipment, the disadvantage of this process is that the resin needs to be regenerated frequently after being used for a period of time. As membrane separation technology continues to mature, reverse osmosis filtration process is often used, or ultrapure water is produced by using one-stage reverse osmosis followed by an ion exchange mixed bed (or electrodeionization EDI) process.
